Apple has officially scheduled its “Surprise and shine” event for Wednesday, September 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern. Apple itself has not published the product list, which is why Wake Up is not filling your morning with rumor bingo.
The immediate practical advice is simple: if an iPhone, Apple Watch or adjacent Apple purchase is on your list, wait until after the event. Even when the new product is not compelling, an announcement can change which older model is the best value or which configuration gets discontinued.
For D, the interesting part tomorrow is less the keynote theater and more the decision matrix afterward: what changed materially, which devices gained something useful rather than cosmetic, what prices moved, and whether any new hardware creates a genuinely better Mac/iPhone/Watch workflow.
Wake Up should treat the event the same way: no live-blog clutter and no parade of tiny announcements. The useful follow-up is a short list of what is actually worth buying, what suddenly became a better bargain, and what can safely be ignored.
